Melissa & Doug Blockables are connectable, stackable, and playable! The solid wood connect-and-play building blocks are perfect manipulatives to help preschoolers boost developmental skills (fine motor, problem-solving, matching, storytelling, and self-esteem), while using their imaginations and having fun. Easy-to-grasp smooth, colourful wooden blocks fit together in a snap with large connectors that even little hands can push in and pull out. An illustrated guide shows how to arrange and link the Blockables to create multi-textured woodland animals (a raccoon, bear, fox, and porcupine with felt spikes), or children can use their imaginations to mix, match, and combine pieces to make unique figures and play their own way. The 16-piece Woodland Friends playset is a great starter set or add-on to any Blockables collection, as it's compatible with all other Blockables playsets. Special connectors let children easily snap together smooth, colourful blocks to create fun woodland animals to play with, or combine to build their own silly characters and cool creations Contents: 9x wooden blocks, 6x connectors, felt porcupine spikes with built-in connector, and illustrated instructions for putting together a racoon, bear, fox, and porcupine Blockables encourage fine motor, problem-solving, and matching skills, introduce storytelling, and help build self-esteem as children build and create their own toys Approximate dimensions: 24.13 x 12.7 x 5.08cm Suitable for age 2 years +
